BIRDS ON INHACA ISLAND

Inhaca Island is home to around 300 bird species.

Some special birds to look out for are the Pink Backed Pelican, Lesser Crested Tern, Mangrove Kingfisher, Greater Flamingoes, White Breasted Cormorants and Olive Bee Eaters.

Trumpeter Hornbills, Crowned Hornbills, Green Pigeons, the Lesser Honey Guide, White faced Owls and Gabor Goshawks are regular visitors in the gardens of Chamfuta.
